Pabst has released a spring seasonal brew for the time since we can ever remember. Our distributor actually let us get our hands on a keg, so we’re gonna throw it on tap and see what happens.
This lager beer is 6.5 degrees and is top-cropped (top-fermenting). The yeast and hops harvested for this brew are lighter than average (as you would expect this time of year). The lighter blend mixed with the top-fermentation process results in a brew that one can consider a “Light” White Lager. The Red Ribbon, a logical nickname which this beer received, is seen as “the beer of the manufacturers”. Nevertheless, this beer will have a wide niche and provide the common man of light, yet balanced lager.
